Wow, it's the wild west out there...When I set up an Insta page for an e-comm store I'd built, it wasn't that bad - but there was definitely a lot of fake accounts/ followers etc. etc.

The obsession on metrics, follower count and appearing credible is driving the wrong behaviours on the platform. I mean, you can literally buy packages to get 100, 500, heck 10,000 claps and "real accounts" following you to beef up numbers. And then there's the commerce of buying and selling accounts, etc.

Thanks for sharing your experience, obvious red flags but some may be a little more subtle...
